The 2019 edition of Veronafiere's International Exhibition of Quality Agro-Foods closed with more specialist visitors than ever. Attendance came to 57.800 people; 27% were international operators from 131 countries. More than 400 b2b meetings were organised.

In addition to Made in Italy, which is the non plus ultra for inclusion in shopping trolleys, PDO and PGI marks are also an indispensable attribute for almost one-third of Italians. Yet Italian food&beverage is also very popular abroad, so much so that almost 4 out of 10 consumers in China, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom believe that it is the most representative aspect of our country, even ahead of fashion, cars and furniture.
